More About Me

Real Estate Experience

I’ve been a licensed Realtor with Windermere Real Estate / Skagit Valley (located in Mount Vernon, WA) since 2001, but I have been influenced by the Realtor community my entire life. My Dad started his own independent real estate office in the 1970’s (David James Realty), and joined Windermere in the 1980’s. In 2002 we purchased Windermere Real Estate / Anacortes Properties, giving us the first two Windermere offices in Skagit County. In 2009 we purchased Windermere Real Estate / San Juan Island, and in 2014 we opened the first Windermere office in Sedro-Woolley. My first job after getting my driver’s license was as office sign installer for our Mount Vernon office. Since then I’ve participated in almost every aspect of the real estate business, from sale in residential, commercial, new construction, condos, and vacant land; to development and commercial lease projects. We also have a mortgage company, Windermere Mortgage Services / Skagit Valley, which is a joint venture with Homestreet Bank and has offices in our Mount Vernon and Anacortes branches. All of our offices offer professional, first-class property management services.

What We Offer

We have over 100 agents that cover every inch of Skagit and San Juan Counties. Our residential agents are highly accomplished and work tirelessly for our clients. We have a commercial division with 10 full-time commercial agents specializing in everything from sales, to leases, to development consulting, and three Residential Property Managers. Give me a call and let me match you up with one of our full-time real estate professionals.

After Work

OK, this is the fun part. My free time is spent with my wife chasing our two daughters down. It's a full-time gig.
As a product of the Pacific Northwest, I’m addicted to the outdoors. If my weekend doesn’t end with me cleaning mud off something, I’ve failed. I know most of the mountain bike trails in Skagit County by memory, and I could ski all of our local ski areas with my eyes closed (though I don’t recommend it). If your plans in the Northwest include getting outside for some exploring, I’d be happy to point the way.
